Enrofloxacin belongs to the group of quinolones and acts bactericidal against mainly Gram-negative bacteria like Campylobacter, E. coli, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Salmonella and Mycoplasma spp.
For use in turkeys, broilers, and pullets being reared as layers for diseases of the respiratory and alimentary tract of bacterial or mycoplasmal origin such as pasteurellosis, mycoplasmosis, colibacillosis, colisepticaemia and Salmonellosis.
10mg per kg body weight daily.
Total number of birds x Average body weight in kg x 0.05 = Total volume of Quinosol 20% per day.
For the treatment of Salmonellosis and Pasteurellosis: 5 to 10 days.
For other conditions: 3 to 5 days.
Administration to young animals during growth can cause cartilage lesions in joints. Hypersensitivity reactions.
