Levasol
Description
Levamisole is a synthetic anthelmintic with activity against a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal worms and against lungworms. Levamisole causes an increase of the axial muscle tone followed by paralysis of the worms.
Indications
LEVASOL is a broad spectrum anthelmintic for the treatment and control of gastro-intestinal and pulmonary nematode infections in sheep and cattle, effective against mature and developing immature stages of the levamisole-susceptible nematode worm species.
Dosage
Levasol 7.5% should be administered as an oral drench. Dosing should be carried out accurately at a rate of 7.5 mg Levamisole hydrochloride per kg bodyweight. Cattle: 1 ml Levasol 7.5% per 10 kg bodyweight. Sheep: 0.5ml Levasol 7.5% per 5kg bodyweight.
