About the role
- Base Salary: RM 2,800 – RM 2,200 Responsibilities: Microbial Sampling & Testing, Stability Studies and Calibration.
Requirements
Education: Diploma or Degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related Science field.
- ● Technical Skills: Familiarity with aseptic techniques and laboratory SOPs.
- ● Experience: Previous experience in a lab setting is a plus; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- ● Attributes: Meticulous, disciplined, and able to work in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- ● QC Operations: Work within the Quality Control (QC) Department to ensure all pharmaceutical products meet strict safety standards.
- ● Testing & Sampling: Conduct microbial contamination and sterility tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
- ● Environmental Monitoring: Perform cleanroom monitoring (settle plates, air sampling, swabs) and production water testing.
- ● Lab Maintenance: Handle media preparation, sterilization/decontamination of biohazard waste, and general housekeeping of the microbiology cleanroom.
- ● Documentation: Record daily equipment calibration, key-in water system trending reports, and immediately report any Out of Specification (OOS) results.
- ● Support: Assist in validation activities as required.
