Linco Specsure (water soluble powder)
Description
Lincomycin and spectinomycin combination powder for drinking water.
Indications
Poultry: aid in the prevention and treatment of Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD, air sacculitis) associated with mycoplasmal and coliform infections of growing chickens. Pigs: treatment and metaphylaxis of porcine proliferative enteropathy (ileitis) caused by Lawsonia intracellularis and associated enteric pathogens (E. coli).
Dosage
Poultry: add 150g to 120 litres of drinking water (15mg powder per kg body weight per day) for 7 days. Prevention: first 3 to 5 days of life and again for one or two days at about 4 weeks of age. Treatment: begin at the first sign of disease and give as the sole source of drinking water for 5 to 7 days. Pigs: 3.33mg lincomycin and 6.67mg spectinomycin per kg body weight per day for 7 days.
