Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic with a bacteriostatic action against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria like Campylobacter, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus and Treponema spp. and Mycoplasma.

Pigs: Treatment and prevention of enzootic pneumonia and ileitis. Chickens: Treatment and prevention of CRD and necrotic enteritis. Turkeys: Treatment and prevention of infectious sinusitis.

Pigs: Treatment of enzootic pneumonia: 40mg of ES-Tysol 50%/ kg body weight / day for 10 days. Treatment of ileitis or PIA: 10mg to 20mg of ES-Tysol 50%/ kg body weight / day for 7 days. Chickens: Treatment of chronic respiratory disease: 150mg to 200mg of ES-Tysol 50% / kg body weight / day for 3 to 5 days. Treatment of necrotic enteritis: 40mg of ES-Tysol 50%/ kg body weight / day for 3 days. Turkeys: 150mg to 200mg of ES-Tysol 50%/ kg body weight / day for 3 to 5 days.
