Quinofort 100mg/ml
Description
Enrofloxacin injection for cattle and pigs.
Indications
Cattle: treatment of respiratory tract infections caused by enrofloxacin-sensitive Histophilus somni, Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida and Mycoplasma spp.; treatment of mastitis caused by enrofloxacin-sensitive E. coli. Pigs: treatment of bacterial bronchopneumonia caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and Pasteurella multocida, complicated by Haemophilus parasuis.
Dosage
Cattle: respiratory disease: 7.5ml per 100kg body weight once by subcutaneous injection (not more than 15ml per site, 7.5ml in calves); a second injection may be given after 48 hours. Colimastitis: 5ml per 100kg body weight daily by intravenous injection for 2 to 3 consecutive days. Pigs: respiratory tract infections: 0.75ml per 10kg body weight once by intramuscular injection into the neck muscles behind the ear (not more than 7.5ml per site); a second injection may be given after 48 hours.
